About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned
Principal Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution across
Accounts Payable (AP) and Supplier domains for a large, complex enterprise environment. This role is highly visible and will be instrumental in building a roadmap for
financial systems convergence and application rationalization-improving operational efficiency, strengthening controls, and enabling scalable finance processes that support a large footprint of business operations.
What You'll Do
- Own translation of business intent, customer needs, and technical direction into clear requirements and/or product backlog for complex finance applications
- Build and manage a 12+ month product roadmap aligned to finance and technology objectives
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to map AP processes to system features and identify gaps/opportunities
- Author high-quality BRDs and champion strong documentation standards
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment across finance, HR, and technology teams to manage dependencies and drive decisions
- Develop business cases for new capabilities and enhancements, securing stakeholder buy-in
- Monitor trends, satisfaction, and usage metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Support planning ceremonies and execution rhythms (e.g., increment planning, prioritization, stakeholder reviews)
What You Bring (Required)
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience in product/program ownership for enterprise systems
- Hands-on experience with Workday (Finance/Accounting/Financials strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft (AP/payables/supplier-related workflows)
- Strong understanding of Accounting / Accounts Payable processes and controls
- Strong ability to bridge business + engineering teams and communicate clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Experience building roadmaps, writing requirements/BRDs, and leading prioritization
