Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Develop and maintain modernized FPRS application interfaces using Angular and .NET, implementing business requirements, application enhancements, and security-related functionality.
Develop, test, and maintain NDB reporting solutions using Power BI, including reports, DAX queries, and Report Builder where applicable. Support reporting requirements for modernization and ongoing operations.
Participate in two-week Agile sprints, perform unit and functional testing, conduct peer code reviews, and manage source code through enterprise GitHub repositories and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, support enhancements to live systems, and prepare software release documentation. Deliver quarterly software releases with Version Description Documents and fully commented source code within three business days of production releases.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications using Angular and .NET, including application modernization, testing, defect resolution, and production support.
Experience with Power BI development, DAX queries, and Report Builder is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Angular, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Power BI, DAX, Report Builder, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting federal government technology programs and enterprise application modernization initiatives, including FPRS and NDB systems.
Experience developing and enhancing business applications, security-related functionality, user interfaces, and reporting solutions supporting federal program operations.
Experience supporting enterprise application workflows, business requirements, data-driven reporting, and production system enhancements within structured government technology environments.
Experience delivering software releases through Agile development processes, including requirements implementation, testing, defect resolution, release documentation, and ongoing production support.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing Power BI reports, creating DAX queries, and using Report Builder to support business reporting and modernization initiatives.
Experience working with enterprise source control, automated build and deployment pipelines, peer code reviews, and structured software release processes.
College-level education or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills are beneficial.
