Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master in Agile environments.
  • Strong experience with Data and Analytics platforms, including Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, Cloud Data Platforms, Data Warehousing, BI, and Reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex dependencies in data programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the product backlog for data platforms, including Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, Cloud Data Warehouses, and Reporting.
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories for data ingestion, transformation, analytics, and reporting.
  • Define product vision, roadmap, and release plans aligned with business and data strategy.
  • Prioritize backlog based on business value, regulatory needs, and technical dependencies.
  • Collaborate with data architects and technical teams to evaluate solutions and feasibility.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach teams on Agile practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Remove delivery impediments and track Agile metrics such as velocity and release progress.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Conduct requirement workshops and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Provide regular updates on delivery status, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure alignment with data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and business sign-off.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Ensure production readiness and post-release stabilization.

Should Have:

  • Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Financial Services, or large enterprise environments.
  • Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe Agilist.
  • Knowledge of data governance and metadata management.
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore teams.
  • Familiarity with analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Qualification and Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
