Role Overview
As a Golang Developer, you will join our squad as part of the strategy to offer more services and a better user experience to our clients in the cybersecurity space. You will be working to design and implement new features, tooling, and automations to support cybersecurity controls and improve resiliency and reliability.

As a member, you will work on a variety of tasks, ranging from:
- Feature design and development for security controls.
- Implementing tooling or AI agents for vulnerability analysis and cyber resiliency.
- Service delivery and DevOps tasks.
- Developing testing frameworks and suites.
- Participating in an on-call rotation.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of our services through remediations against security findings, development, automation, and effective observability solutions.
- Enforcing adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, and usability design standards.
- Developing new integrations and onboarding new tools to support business needs and integrate with our client's technology ecosystem.
- Participating in design discussions, code reviews, and various Agile ceremonies.
- Delivering knowledge sharing and participating in cross-pollination of good practices and standards across our Vault squad and broader security organization, providing documentation and presentations.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years development experience for backend/full-stack Golang including REST APIs and microservices concepts.
- 2+ years of experience in Kubernetes, including Helm.
- 2+ years of experience in one or more of Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform services.
- Solid skills in AI-enhanced software design and development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IBM HashiCorp products such as Vault or Terraform.
- Experience with AI agent development, including leveraging MCP, A2A, or Vector DBs in AI agent development.
- Experience with concepts such as Retry patterns, Circuit breakers, Idempotency, Service discovery, and API gateways.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices.
- Experience with reliability best practices, such as SLOs, incident response, and observability engineering.
- Experience with cybersecurity practices, such as encryption at rest and in transit, secret management, CVE remediation, authentication/authorization, and PKI.
