Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – PMO to lead the Program Management Office for strategic Finance transformation initiatives. This role will provide end-to-end program governance, drive execution across multiple workstreams, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and ensure Finance projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Finance transformation, enterprise program management, PMO governance, financial systems, process transformation, and executive stakeholder management.
 

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

    • Lead the PMO for large-scale Finance transformation and technology programs from planning through implementation and stabilization.
    • Establish and manage program governance, operating models, project standards, milestones, and reporting mechanisms.
    • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, dependencies, critical paths, resource plans, budgets, and delivery roadmaps.
    • Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Procurement, IT, Data, and other business stakeholders.
    • Drive execution across multiple project workstreams and ensure alignment with strategic Finance objectives.
    • Provide executive-level reporting on program status, risks, issues, dependencies, financials, and key decisions.
    • Establish effective RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management and ensure timely resolution of critical items.
    • Manage program financials, including budgets, forecasts, resource costs, vendor spend, and variance analysis.
    • Identify delivery risks and proactively develop mitigation and contingency plans.
    • Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive governance forums, ensuring clear decisions, actions, and accountability.
    • Drive cross-functional dependency management and resolve issues that may impact program timelines or business outcomes.
    • Manage external vendors, system integrators, and consulting partners where applicable.
    • Ensure appropriate change management, communication, training, and organizational readiness activities are incorporated into the program.
    • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure program health, delivery performance, benefits realization, and business outcomes.
    • Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, standards, and governance practices.
    • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, controls, audit requirements, and Finance governance standards.
    • Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 12+ years of experience in program/project management, PMO leadership, Finance transformation, or a related area.
    • 5+ years of experience leading large, complex, cross-functional enterprise programs.
    • Strong understanding of Finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Close, FP&A, Revenue, Procurement, and Management Reporting.
    • Proven experience working with senior Finance and technology executives.
    • Strong program governance, financial management, risk management, and executive communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and complex dependencies.
    • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation
