This organization is seeking a qualified Product Owner to support the Market Risk Technology team. The selected professional will define the product vision and roadmap while prioritizing the backlog for the development team. This position requires collaboration with business and risk managers to translate complex requirements into detailed technical specifications. The individual will support change initiatives across global markets programs and manage the delivery of infrastructure modifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, establish the roadmap, and prioritize stories within the backlog.
- Collaborate with business and risk managers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Support end-to-end IT change initiatives and implement modifications to risk processes and systems.
- Assist with the analysis and testing of technical implementations.
- Ensure appropriate project governance and control processes around delivery.
- Leverage market risk domain expertise to manage the delivery of infrastructure changes.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, or a related technical field is preferred.
Experience: Prior experience delivering technical projects within global markets or risk technology at a financial services organization is required. Experience with agile methodologies and project tracking tools is necessary.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of market risk metrics, regulatory frameworks, Excel, and SQL is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python or Quartz.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
