Position Title: SAP ABAP Developer - SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, FICA, Fiori
Location: Hybrid; Remote Off-Site and On-Site in Middletown, PA
Duration: 24+ Month Project
Note: Hybrid work environment is expected to be 1-week per month on-site in Middletown PA, varying with project needs. In addition to the PA ePATCH background check, PTC requires a National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer - SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, FICA, Fiori to design, develop, test, and deploy custom objects (WRICEF) and Fiori/UI5 applications in SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on expertise in SAP BRIM (SOM, CI, CC) and FICA. Will build scalable, clean-core solutions and integrations, working across functional teams to deliver enterprise SAP initiatives.
Our SAP ABAP Developer - SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, FICA, Fiori will perform the following duties;
- ABAP Development: Build/test/deploy custom objects, enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, forms using ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, OData, REST/SOAP; debug and optimize for performance, security, and clean-core.
- Data Migration: Develop custom migration/ETL programs via IDocs, BAPIs, Proxies, AMDP, Migration Cockpit, LSMW, EMIGALL, BODS.
- Fiori/UI5: Full-stack Fiori/UI5 development (UI, OData services, backend logic); deploy to standard and ruggedized devices (e.g., Zebra handhelds).
- BRIM / SOM / CI / CC / FICA: Develop/support billing, invoicing, dunning, payments, discounts, revenue recognition, account determination; support subscription orders, contracts, business partners, BTMF; integrate BRIM with CRM/POS/mobile/portals.
- Integration & Architecture: Configure RFC, IDocs, REST/SOAP, OAuth2, SSL integrations; build SAP-to-ServiceNow integrations (ChaRM); partner with Basis/Security on transports, performance, and compliance.
- CRM Web UI: Enhance One Order framework, GENIL/BOL layer, CRM_UI components; build extensions integrated with BRIM/S/4HANA.
- Collaboration & Delivery: Translate business requirements into technical specs with FI/CO, MM/IM, BRIM, CRM teams; participate in implementations, upgrades, migrations; provide code reviews and technical guidance; work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Documentation: Produce functional/technical specs, design diagrams, test plans/scripts, impact analyses, deployment guides per org standards.
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ Years: SAP ABAP development experience with 2+ years specializing in SAP BRIM and/or FICA
- 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementation projects (BRIM, FICA, Fiori, or major S/4 upgrades)
- Practical experience OData (classical & RAP), UI5/JavaScript/HTML5, REST/SOAP APIs, GENIL/BOL/One Order, SAP CRM Web UI, IDocs/RFCs/Web Services, OAuth2/SSL/Basic Auth, migration tools (Migration Cockpit, LSMW, BODS, EMIGALL)
- Deep OO-ABAP expertise: enhancement framework, BADIs, user exits
- Strong S/4HANA dev skills: CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, OData, SEGW, Proxies, IDocs
- Hands-on BRIM/SOM/CI/CC and FICA process experience
- Fiori/UI5, Fiori Elements, Launchpad configuration, UI/UX best practices
- SAP BTP and Business Application Studio (BAS) experience
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work across diverse teams and contribute to architectural/design discussions
Preferred & Education
- Agile/DevOps exposure; retail or subscription-billing industry experience beneficial is a plus
- Certifications preferred: SAP Certified Development Associate (ABAP for HANA), S/4HANA Development, SAP BRIM Technical, SAP Fiori Application Developer is a plus
