Your Role Atlas Copco Engineering Co-Op About the Job An Engineering Co-Op at Atlas Copco will be responsible for completing designated projects through-out their time at Henrob. The scope of the project will be determined at the start of each quarter and will focus on the work of the department they are a part of. Project opportunities include a range of topics such as process review and standardization, system improvement and optimization, and design and modeling. The individual in this role will work closely with on-site engineers and personnel to achieve success in their project and will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of departments and areas of the company.
General Duties - Complete assigned project to meet determined deliverables.
- Interact with department engineers to review project status.
- Interface with others to develop processes and procedures.
- Prepare technical documents to support improvements, processes, and changes.
- Conduct time studies, observations, and investigate process inefficiencies.
- Conduct trials and/or installations of projects for improvement.
- Conduct work in a safe and reliable manner.
- Other duties as required.
To succeed, you will need Desired Skills and Knowledge - Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and willingness to learn and develop.
- Able to operate effectively and efficiently individually and as part of a team.
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office products.
Education and Qualifications - Currently studying in an Engineering discipline.
- Must be able to legally work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
Physical Requirements (As Applicable) - Ability to safely move about a large production facility as needed, on a regular basis.
