Syndication Traffic Manager OverviewA leading global software company is seeking a
Syndication Traffic Manager to support its high-volume web localization and syndication program. This role ensures translated web content flows efficiently through the pipeline by routing requests, validating information, and coordinating work across global teams. You'll play a pivotal operational role-connecting stakeholders, managing intake, and keeping thousands of projects on track each year.
This fully remote position offers strong onboarding support, clear processes, extensive documentation, and the opportunity to operate independently after only a few weeks of training. You will also help guide the evolution of this function as the team transitions to new tools and automated workflows.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraffic & Workflow Management- Manage end-to-end coordination of syndication requests-from intake and validation through assignment, execution, UAT, and publication.
- Triage incoming work via Wrike, ensuring requests are complete and assigning them to the appropriate team members.
- Monitor weekly and bi-weekly reports from the internal planning system (ICE), export data into Excel, and use pivot tables to categorize work by solution area.
- Balance workloads across the team using established logic tables and prioritization frameworks.
Content Review & Execution Support- Review and classify website content updates by priority, execution type, and syndication requirements.
- Support tagging, restructuring, and net-new page workflows across syndicated content.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in task tracking across all workflow tools.
- Provide clear guidance to stakeholders on process, timelines, and expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Serve as the central operational liaison between content creators, global web managers, and syndication teams.
- Coordinate with regional partners across time zones, particularly Europe-based team members.
- Communicate weekly volumes, forecasts, and status updates to stakeholders and leadership forums.
Documentation & Process Improvement- Use and maintain robust process documentation, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization, simplification, and tooling enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience- Excel expertise (must have) - specifically strong proficiency with pivot tables.
- 2+ years in traffic management, content operations, or web project coordination.
- Experience managing high-volume workloads, recurring cadences, and parallel workstreams.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb new systems, processes, and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with workflow tools (Wrike; Workfront a plus).
- Familiarity with CMS-driven content workflows or localization/syndication processes.
Tools & Systems- Wrike - primary intake and assignment system
- ICE - internal planning/reporting system
- Excel - pivot-table based analysis (required)
- Workfront - upcoming migration tool (experience a plus)
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
Content Types- Translated versions of English marketing web pages
- Various page formats with different translation needs
- Mix of human and machine translation depending on content complexity and requester needs
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
- Structured, proactive, and reliable working style.
- Ability to collaborate in a globally distributed team across time zones.
- Fluency in English.
