Location: San Antonio, TX (On-Site)
About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Desktop Support Technician to join a dynamic corporate IT team in San Antonio. This individual will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the end-user computing environment, acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting expertise, hands-on experience with modern endpoint management tools, and a proactive mindset focused on improving processes and user experience.
 
What Youll Do:
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues
  • Provide guidance and support to junior technicians and service desk staff
  • Manage and document support tickets within a ticketing platform (e.g., ServiceNow or similar)
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair Windows and macOS devices and peripherals
  • Support user account administration within Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online and Teams
  • Assist with endpoint management using Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, compliance policies, app deployment, configuration profiles)
  • Oversee full device lifecycle management including imaging, deployment, refresh, and decommissioning
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking and inventory records
  • Provide conference room and A/V support, including Microsoft Teams-enabled meeting spaces
  • Create and update technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Contribute to IT initiatives and participate in an on-call rotation
  • Identify opportunities to improve support workflows and enhance overall service delivery
 
What Were Looking For:
  • 4+ years of desktop support experience within a corporate IT environment
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11 and macOS platforms
  • Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and modern device management concepts
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-service orientation
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Must be comfortable working fully on-site in San Antonio
 
Nice to Have:
  Familiarity with ITIL best practices
  Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA A+, or
  similar
