Sr. Java Developer

Introduction

The Sr. Java Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining full stack solutions, including front-end user interfaces, back-end APIs, microservices, databases, and DevOps development. They will need to have a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, messaging systems, and various Java frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop full stack solutions using Java, J2EE, and various web application frameworks.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Nexus, and Docker.
  • Integrate with web services using SOAP and REST, and parse JSON and XML data.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB.
  • Utilize front-end technologies like Angular JS, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of related experience in commercial software development.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related major.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, Nexus, Docker.
  • Experience working in cloud environments like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of messaging systems such as MQ, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, or Kinesis.
  • Expert-level development experience with Java, J2EE, and MVC frameworks.
  • Experience with Web Services, Spring MVC, Struts, Hibernate, JPA, and jQuery.
  • Experience with front-end technologies and AJAX frameworks.
  • Strong object-oriented design skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Elastic Search, MongoDB, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, and other messaging systems.
  • Proficiency in XML, XSL, HTML, JavaScript, Angular, AWS, and Docker.
