Summary

Job Title: Sr. PeopleSoft FSCM General Ledger Business Analyst

Location: Austin, TX, (Telework)

Position Type: Contract

Interview Mode: By Phone & MS Teams

Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and document functional specifications for PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 General Ledger solutions.
Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).
Support concurrent system upgrades and new module implementation projects.
Perform gap analysis, process analysis, and recommend solution alternatives.
Develop and maintain business process documentation, workflows, and requirements artifacts.
Create test scenarios, test scripts, and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Conduct hands-on testing and assist with defect tracking and resolution.
Prepare training materials and support end-user training activities.
Perform dual-system reconciliation and validate financial data accuracy.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of business requirements.
Support multiple testing cycles and project deliverables in a state government financial systems environment.

II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

8	Required	Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM on implementation or upgrade projects as a General Ledger and Commitment Accounting business analyst
8	Required	Hands-on experience with state government accounting practice
8	Required	Hands-on experience creating all forms of project deliverables as a business analyst
8	Required	Hands-on experience conducting end-to-end system testing
8	Required	Hands-on experience presenting information to business stakeholders in a formal setting
8	Required	(at least 4) Experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
4	Preferred	Hands-on experience working with the Texas state agencies’ PeopleSoft FSCM (CAPPS Financials) system
4	Preferred	Hands-on experience working in the Scrum framework and Jira
2	Preferred	Hands-on experience working with SharePoint lists
2	Preferred	Hands-on experience working with various Microsoft Teams features
1	Preferred	Experience with Phire
