Remote Technical Java Architect | Enterprise Java Architect

Overview:

Responsibilities:

Refactor Java code (Spring/Spring Boot, JDBC, Hibernate/JPA) for PostgreSQL compatibility.
Rewrite and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Perform performance tuning and testing at both app and DB layers.
Mentor developers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

8+ years Java development; strong expertise with Spring Boot, JDBC, Hibernate.
5+ years working with DB2 and PostgreSQL, including schema design and SQL optimization.
Proven track record in large-scale database/application migrations.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred:

Healthcare, retail, or pharmacy industry experience.
Cloud PostgreSQL (AWS RDS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) exposure.
