Overview:
Location: Hybrid in Albany, NY
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000

We are seeking a PeopleSoft Application Developer who will support our client with the accounting and enterprise resource planning systems through both project-based and production support efforts. This role is responsible for analyzing business and system issues, developing and supporting technical solutions, troubleshooting production problems, and supporting key accounting events such as fiscal year-end processing. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials development, module integration, and enterprise application support.

Duties:

• Analyze business and system problems
• Provide production support and troubleshoot system and application issues
• Perform data analysis and reconciliation
• Support accounting business events, including fiscal year-end documentation
• Create and maintain technical design documentation
• Develop unit test scripts and support testing activities
• Perform PeopleSoft image updates and related system maintenance
• Support integration across PeopleSoft Financials modules and related business processes
• Use PeopleSoft development tools and SQL to support system enhancements and issue resolution

• Associate’s degree or combination of experience and education
• 4+ years of experience in PeopleSoft application development using at least 3 of the following toolsets: XML, PeopleSoft SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PSQuery, Data Mover, Application Engine, and Component Interface
• 4+ years of experience using SQL with PeopleSoft data structures
• 2+ years of experience using PeopleTools 8.57 or higher
• 2+ years of experience creating technical design documents and unit test scripts
• Experience supporting multiple PeopleSoft Financials modules and their integration with one another
• Experience with PeopleSoft image updates
• Experience supporting fiscal year-end processes
• Experience providing production support and troubleshooting in an enterprise application environment
• Experience performing business and system analysis
• Experience with data analysis and reconciliation
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
