Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney with a strong background in business litigation. This individual will join our legal team and contribute to the successful resolution of complex legal disputes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of all stages of litigation and exceptional negotiation skills. This position offers an opportunity to work on high-profile cases and provides a platform for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
2. Develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
3. Conduct extensive complex legal research and prepare legal documents.
4. Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
5. Present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
6. Select jurors, argue motions, meet with judges, and question witnesses during the course of a trial.
7. Provide advice and counsel to clients regarding their legal rights, obligations, and privileges.
8. Maintain client relationships and communicate with clients to explain their legal options.
9. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
10. Stay updated with changes in law and inform the team about the same.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business litigation.
4. Proven background in civil litigation, including trial experience.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
8. Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
10. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
