Candidates MUST be local to one of the following: Denver, CO, Charlotte, NC, Irvine, CA, New York, NY, Portland, OR, or Mill Valley, CA.
We are seeking a hands-on, delivery-focused Scrum Master who thrives in fast-paced technology environments and knows how to move teams from planning to production with speed and quality. This is not a “status-taker” role. We are looking for a proactive leader who can drive execution, remove blockers, and help teams ship value through strong Agile discipline, DevOps alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.
This role blends Scrum leadership (50%), Salesforce configuration/support (25%), and Business Analysis (25%), requiring someone who can facilitate Agile ceremonies while also rolling up their sleeves to support the platform and translate business needs into actionable work.
Key Responsibilities
Scrum Leadership (50%)
- Lead daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with a focus on outcomes, not meetings
- Drive sprint execution with urgency, accountability, and measurable progress
- Remove impediments quickly and escalate when necessary to keep delivery on track
- Partner closely with DevOps and engineering teams to support CI/CD, release management, and deployment cadence
- Promote Agile best practices that enable teams to deliver high-quality work at pace
- Ensure user stories are actionable, sized appropriately, and ready for development
- Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement
Salesforce Configuration & Support (25%)
- Provide light Salesforce administrative/configuration support as needed
- Work closely with Salesforce developers and admins to support releases and enhancements
- Understand Salesforce architecture well enough to bridge communication between business and technical teams
- Assist in troubleshooting, backlog refinement, and solution validation
Business Analysis (25%)
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tasks
- Ensure work aligns with business value and strategic priorities
- Support backlog grooming and prioritization with product owners
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience delivering technology projects in environments with CI/CD, DevOps, and structured release management
- Strong background as a Scrum Master who drives execution—not just reporting status
- Working knowledge of Salesforce (minimal exposure acceptable, but must be comfortable navigating the platform)
- Experience bridging technical teams and business stakeholders through effective business analysis
- Demonstrated ability to improve team velocity, quality, and delivery predictability
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, evolving environments
AI & Innovation Mindset
We value candidates who actively use AI in their work. Examples may include:
- Building presentations, documentation, or workflows using AI
- Automating tasks or processes with AI tools
- Writing or improving code using AI assistance
- Applying AI to solve business or operational problems
What Success Looks Like
- Teams consistently deliver sprint commitments
- Releases move smoothly through CI/CD pipelines with minimal friction
- Backlogs are clear, prioritized, and aligned to business goals
- Salesforce enhancements and support are handled efficiently
- Stakeholders feel informed, supported, and confident in delivery progress
