Job Details

Location: Remote (Candidate must reside in the Dallas, TX area)

Travel: Up to 50% travel required throughout Texas and surrounding regions

We are seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machine tools and related equipment at customer facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and have experience servicing a variety of CNC machinery.

Responsibilities
Perform installation, startup, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of CNC machine tools
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-related issues
Support CNC lathes, vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, mills, and multi-axis equipment
Work with machine brands such as Mazak, Mori Seiki, DMG Mori, Okuma, Haas, and similar equipment
Troubleshoot Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and other CNC control platforms
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
Provide technical support and training to customers when necessary
Complete detailed service reports and document all work performed
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional communication and service
Travel to customer sites as needed throughout the assigned territory

Qualifications
3+ years of CNC machine tool service, maintenance, or repair experience
Strong understanding of CNC lathes, mills, machining centers, and production equipment
Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar CNC controls
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Dallas, TX area
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%

Preferred Experience
OEM field service experience
Multi-axis machining center experience
PLC troubleshooting knowledge
Machine installation and commissioning experience
Advanced CNC diagnostics and precision alignment experience
