Summary

Description:
Hybrid 3 in Pittsburgh, PA

The role emphasizes Agile delivery, clear communication, and coordination across engineers, scrum teams, PMO, and senior leaders. The PM will facilitate consensus in a stakeholder-heavy environment, manage risks and metrics, and drive execution against defined technical direction without needing to be a technical SME.

For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Manage 4-5 concurrent infrastructure implementation projects using Agile practices.

  • Facilitate consensus and decision-making across engineers, IT directors, PMO, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead project ceremonies including planning, status meetings, and Scrum of Scrums to address risks and impediments.
  • Coordinate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and DevOps to validate solution feasibility and standards alignment.
  • Support vendor selection, RFP activities, and software or service contract negotiations when applicable.
  • Track progress using green/red status, percent complete, and budget alignment; flag variances and overruns.
  • Course-correct delivery issues and escalate to directors or sponsors when necessary.
  • Maintain weekly updates to plans and rolling backlogs within SAFe-based Agile cadence and PI planning.
  • Document requirements, testing, and basic process/data flows as needed.
  • Communicate timely, clear status to diverse technical and leadership audiences.

Experience Requirements:
  • Seven or more years of hands-on project management experience.
  • Proven Agile delivery experience; ability to support multiple scrum teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing 4-5 concurrent projects with frequent context switching.
  • Experience with infrastructure implementations such as Microsoft platform upgrades, networking, monitoring, server and SQL Server upgrades, and security tools.
  • Exposure to databases (Oracle, Snowflake) and job scheduling tools (RunMyJobs) (preferred).
  • Experience with telephony (Verizon) and Microsoft Teams upgrades (preferred).
  • Experience in financial services or technology industries.
  • Experience executing projects with iterative methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, or Hybrid.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with ability to influence without authority.
  • Ability to coordinate across technicians, engineers, PMO, directors, and CIO-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them to business outcomes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project Suite and SharePoint; experience with Agility and ITSM tools such as Cherwell or Halo (preferred).
  • Ability to manage budgets at the project level and communicate variances.
  • Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations related to assigned projects.

Education Requirements:
