Our client seeks a Program Manager to drive strategy, governance, and execution across a technology portfolio in the financial domain. The role will coordinate program-level engagement, create clear narratives and artifacts, and maintain comprehensive health and status monitoring across multiple projects. The manager will support financials, vendor management, and collaboration infrastructure while ensuring roadmap integrity and CxO-ready reporting. Rate: $80.00 to $90.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Help frame program strategy aligned to organizational goals and objectives, including measurement via OKRs and KPIs.
  • Maintain program governance structure and mechanisms for steering, decision-making, and escalation.
  • Coordinate program conversations at the right level and cadence, and publish notes and action items.
  • Own the program narrative and synthesize details into high-impact artifacts tuned to audience and purpose.
  • Enable comprehensive program health and status monitoring, aggregating key results from multiple projects across the enterprise.
  • Ensure roadmap and schedule integrity, manage business critical milestones and CxO-level reporting, and resolve items near or past due.
  • Support capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking, and reporting across labor, cloud, vendor, software license, and other costs; coordinate setup of project codes.
  • Facilitate risk, issue, change, dependency, and critical decisions management.
  • Drive the end-to-end business case process including pipeline management, template utilization, incremental dates for monthly reviews, stakeholder touchpoints, and approval forums.
  • Support third-party due diligence, selection, contract execution, and oversight.
  • Organize and maintain collaboration and knowledge/work management infrastructure using tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, and Miro.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support including roster and cost center management, meeting scheduling, calendar management, conference planning, and distribution list maintenance.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of proven experience in technology portfolio, program, or project management.
  • 3+ years of experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, or Kanban.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Strong analysis, synthesis, and communication skills with consistent delivery of high quality work product.
  • Ability to navigate between big picture and detail, abstractions and specifics.
  • Adaptable and independent in a hybrid environment without a central PMO.
  • Hands-on experience with collaboration and analytics tools: Confluence, SharePoint, Jira, MS Dynamics, Excel, Power BI, Miro, Zoom, and Teams.
  • Domain experience in financial services, big data, data science, advanced analytics, AI, ML, or LLMs (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a STEM or Finance element.
  • SAFe or Scrum-related certification (preferred).
