About the RoleIn this contingent assignment, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale, complex software engineering initiatives with a focus on ServiceNow development. You will consult on strategic programs, analyze technical challenges, and help guide long-term platform solutions. This role requires deep experience across the ServiceNow ecosystem, strong engineering judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
What You'll Do- Lead and consult on complex engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Review, assess, and design solutions for multi-faceted ServiceNow and software engineering challenges.
- Evaluate diverse factors-including technical constraints, business requirements, and ambiguous or unprecedented scenarios-to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Apply strong knowledge of engineering policies, compliance standards, and best practices to meet delivery objectives.
- Partner closely with internal client teams, offering strategic guidance and expertise on platform architecture and implementation.
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in software development or engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Must be located in Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC.
- Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD).
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA).
- Experience delivering solutions within Financial Services environments.
- Strong background with IT Service Management (ITSM) implementations.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with CMDB design, maintenance, and ServiceNow CMDB integrations.
- Background in Change Management processes and tooling.
Minimum Education / Equivalent Experience- 5+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrated through a combination of work history, consulting experience, technical training, military service, or education.
