This position requires direct, hands-on Workforce Software experience. Candidates with experience limited to UKG, Kronos, ADP, Workday, or other Workforce Management platforms without significant Workforce Software implementation experience will not be considered.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workforce Software Integration Developer to join a large-scale enterprise Workforce Software implementation supporting a leading manufacturing client. This is a long-term project currently in the Pilot/UAT phase and transitioning to a phased, multi-wave deployment strategy through 2028.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing, configuring, and supporting Workforce Software integrations across payroll, employee data, and enterprise applications. This role requires an experienced technical consultant who has participated in multiple full lifecycle Workforce Software implementations and can work independently while collaborating with business stakeholders, functional consultants, offshore teams, and project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Workforce Software integrations and interfaces.
- Build and support inbound and outbound integrations using APIs, web services, and enterprise interface technologies.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
- Develop payroll, HR, employee master data, and time & attendance integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and interface issues.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Support Pilot, UAT, deployment, go-live, and Hypercare activities.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, offshore developers, and client stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Ensure integration solutions follow enterprise standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance throughout multiple deployment waves.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on Workforce Software experience.
- 4+ years of Workforce Software Integration Development experience.
- Minimum 2 3 full lifecycle Workforce Software implementation projects.
- Strong experience developing integrations using Workforce Software Integration Studio or similar tools.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience integrating payroll, HR, and employee data systems.
- Strong SQL development and query writing skills.
- Experience troubleshooting complex integration issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workforce Software Certification (PT102, TIME102, or equivalent).
- Experience integrating Workforce Software with ADP or other enterprise payroll platforms.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial, Utilities, Transportation, or Unionized workforce environments.
- Experience with labor rules, overtime rules, scheduling, and workforce management configurations.
- Experience working with offshore development teams.
- JavaScript, C++, or other 3GL/4GL programming experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise implementations from design through production deployment.
