Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Management Consultant to support project execution, reporting, and operational coordination within our Engineering & Construction organization. This role will play a key part in managing project activities, driving reporting automation initiatives, supporting field operations, and ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power Platform tools, and experience working across cross-functional teams in construction, infrastructure, energy, or renewable industry environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day project management operations and coordination activities across assigned projects
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions for project tracking and executive reporting
  • Build, optimize, and maintain Power Automate workflows to streamline operational and reporting processes
  • Manage and govern Power BI workspaces, applications, datasets, and reporting environments, including cleanup and optimization of existing content
  • Monitor project productivity, schedule adherence, work quality, and contractor safety performance
  • Assist with scope management, budget oversight, project scheduling, and work-in-progress tracking
  • Participate in field walkdowns, validate completed work against design requirements, and support constructability reviews
  • Review contractor and vendor deliverables, invoices, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate activities among engineering, construction, analytics, safety, procurement, and contract administration teams
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify reporting needs, process improvements, and automation opportunities
  • Support issue resolution, resource coordination, and technical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle
  • Interface with vendors, suppliers, contractors, regulatory agencies, landowners, and local community stakeholders as needed
  • Reinforce company expectations related to safety, compliance, quality standards, and corrective action processes
  • Analyze key performance indicators, financial data, and operational trends to support strategic project decisions
  • Prepare project status updates, performance reports, and executive-level presentations
  • Perform additional project-related responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Land Surveying, or a related field
  • 6 10 years of experience supporting or managing project execution in construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities, or renewable environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard/report development, workspace management, and governance
  • Experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Automate workflows
  • Demonstrated project management coordination and reporting experience
  • Knowledge of project lifecycle management, contractor coordination, and field execution support
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience supporting capital projects, project controls, or construction reporting initiatives
  • Familiarity with renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of safety programs, construction compliance, and contractor performance management
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical and operational teams
