The client is seeking qualified candidates for an onsite technical professional who will utilize their knowledge, skills, and abilities to assist with implementation and ongoing administration of the Authority's Security Surveillance Platform (Genetec Video Management System and server infrastructure for this system.
Education Requirement:
• B.S in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. OR
• Associates Degree with Minimum 4 years of demonstrated experience working in an enterprise infrastructure environment in addition to the time required in the Minimum Qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Two (2) years administering Genetec SecurityCenter Enterprise or other Enterprise VMS applications (Milestone, Exacq Vision, Intelliscene etc.)
2) Two (2) years administering AXIS cameras (or others such as Pelco, Bosch, etc.)
3) Two (2) years maintaining and troubleshooting VMS related infrastructure
(including physical & virtual Servers, SAN, NAS, SQL server, Networking, etc.
within a VMS application).
Preferred Qualifications (or equivalent):
• Experience commissioning and adding cameras, encoders, access control,
analytics, and other security systems into VMS platforms
• Deep understanding of video streaming, encryption, recording, and retention best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting VMS applications, video loss, network connectivity, and performance issues.
• Familiarity with enterprise authentication and networking protocols related to VMS deployments.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and design coverage software
• Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
Preferred certifications:
o Genetec Security Center 5.x Enterprise
o AXIS Certified Professional
