Seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with 8 12 years of experience designing and building scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka, distributed systems, RESTful/gRPC APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, along with experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Required Skills
8 12 years of Java development experience (Java 7+).
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Topics, Partitions, Offsets, Kafka Streams, Schemas).
Strong knowledge of Microservices and distributed system architecture.
Experience with RESTful APIs and/or gRPC.
Proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or Cassandra.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Git version control.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, or Confluent Platform.
Knowledge of Istio, Envoy, or other service mesh technologies.
Experience with Redis or Memcached.
Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, or similar.

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver technical solutions.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to coding best practices.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for backend services and Kafka pipelines.
Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize system scalability.
Continuously improve development processes and adopt modern technologies.
