We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager. This role is instrumental in leading and managing the electrical design, planning, and implementation of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, specifically in ground-up, commercial, and electrical safety projects.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of projects from award through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality goals are met
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, cost tracking, and monthly reviews
  • Drive cash flow by submitting accurate billings and quickly processing change orders
  • Price, negotiate, track, and collect change orders to maximize project value
  • Partner closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and field teams to improve productivity and execution
  • Stay active in the field to address constructability, production, and safety issues early
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to keep projects moving
  • Plan ahead to avoid delays by managing labor needs and material timelines
  • Build strong client relationships and turn them into repeat and negotiated work
  • Support preconstruction and help transition awarded projects smoothly into execution
  • Work with estimating and leadership to pursue negotiated opportunities
  • Ensure safety standards are followed and risks are handled proactively
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation
  • Represent the company professionally and take pride in long-term project success

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects (commercial and/or industrial)
  • Experience running projects valued at $5M+
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish (schedule, cost, quality, client)
  • Strong financial management experience (forecasting, billing, cost-to-complete, change orders)
  • Track record of building client relationships and winning repeat work
  • Hands-on collaboration with field teams to drive production and safety
  • Experience mentoring junior staff and working cross-functionally with estimating and operations
