Job Title: Materials Development
Location: Beaverton, Oregon (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented individual to contribute to the advancement of materials for innovative footwear products. Our team focuses on driving product excellence, collaborating across multiple functions, and ensuring all material developments align with strategic organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive material creation processes, translating design concepts into 3D samples, ensuring alignment with product vision and business objectives.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to establish material direction, oversee timelines, and support execution of sustainable solutions.
- Manage projects through the complete product development cycle, monitoring critical dates and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for category-specific material issues, facilitating transparent communication and collaborative problem-solving.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Materials, Chemistry, Product Development or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years directly relevant professional experience in product creation or material development.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and distill complex data, effectively communicating insights to cross-functional teams.
- High level of digital literacy with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with material management systems preferred.
