Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator to join our team in Rochester, New York. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting both scientific and manufacturing staff. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in networking, systems administration, and hands-on troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, including Meraki and Cato SD solutions.
Troubleshoot and manage Azure virtual networks to ensure seamless operations.
Administer backup systems, with a focus on Acronis technologies.
Provide support for Citrix environments used for application delivery.
Offer technical assistance for Agilent systems, including database backend and Citrix front end.
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues across networks and systems.
Collaborate with scientific and manufacturing teams to deliver hands-on IT support.
Address operational and IT challenges as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption.
Manage service desk tickets efficiently and provide timely resolutions.
Implement and support Active Directory and Windows 10 systems.
Requirements
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems support.
Proficiency in Meraki networking and familiarity with SD solutions (Cato preferred).
Hands-on experience with Azure virtual network management.
Knowledge of backup system administration, ideally with Acronis.
Expertise in supporting Citrix environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills across both network and systems domains.
Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
