The Senior Project Analyst provides high-level project management, analytical, and operational support to the Office of Head Start (OHS) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Hub. This role supports OHS federal staff and TTA system partners by coordinating activities, tracking performance and deliverables, maintaining data and documentation, and supporting quality assurance across TTA initiatives.
The Senior Project Analyst ensures that TTA Hub activities are well coordinated, data informed, and aligned with federal priorities, timelines, and quality expectations, enabling the TTA system to effectively support Head Start and Early Head Start recipients nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical and coordination support to OHS staff overseeing the TTA system, including National Centers, Regional TTA specialists, and other partners.
- Assist with planning, organizing, and monitoring TTA Hub activities to ensure alignment across regions and content areas.
- Aggregate, analyze, and summarize data related to TTA activities, outputs, and trends to support leadership decision making.
- Prepare briefing materials, summaries, and reports that communicate TTA Hub progress, challenges, and emerging issues.
- Maintain data tracking systems (e.g., Smartsheet or similar tools) to monitor TTA Hub activities, assignments, deliverables, and follow up actions.
- Support data integrity, version control, and documentation standards for TTA related records and files.
- Identify patterns, gaps, or opportunities for improvement within TTA Hub operations and elevate findings to OHS leadership.
- Support special TTA initiatives and projects resulting from national priorities, legislation, or policy decisions.
- Assist with coordination and preparation for national and regional meetings, trainings, or briefings related to TTA.
- Contribute to the development of tools, templates, or guidance that support consistent TTA Hub operations and communication.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Administration, Education, Early Childhood, Policy, Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience supporting Head Start, Early Head Start, or federal training and technical assistance systems.
- 1+ years of experience providing project management, analytical, or operational support in a federal or largescale program environment.
- 1+ years of experience supporting coordination of multiparter or multiregional initiatives.
- US government issued security clearance required (will be initiated upon hire)
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Head Start Program Performance Standards or federal grant funded program operations.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and policy guidance.
- Excellent written communication skills, including experience drafting formal policy or guidance documents.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work under tight timelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with federal agencies, state systems, T/TA partners, and diverse partners in the early childhood field.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$67,355.00 - $114,503.00
