Hiring: Apigee Architect / Developer / (Apigee X & Google Cloud Platform)

We are seeking an experienced Apigee Architect / Developer / Administrator to support a large enterprise healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Apigee X, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Python automation, API governance, and DevOps with a strong background in building scalable, secure, and high-performing API platforms.

Required Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) architecture and services

• Design, develop, and deploy APIs, API Products, and Shared Flows

• Implement OAuth 2.0, API Security, Authentication/Authorization (AuthN/AuthZ), Rate Limiting, and Traffic Management

• Strong knowledge of API governance, policy enforcement, scalability, and performance optimization

• Advanced Python development for automation, API lifecycle management, validation, linting, and integrations

• Experience with SwaggerHub and OpenAPI Specifications

• Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines

• Experience managing artifacts using JFrog Artifactory

• Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault or enterprise secrets management

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized cloud environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace

• Knowledge of API caching strategies and performance tuning

• Experience with cloud-native networking and runtime environments

• Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise API solutions using Apigee X on Google Cloud Platform

• Deploy and manage Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using Terraform and automation tools

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance using Google Cloud Monitoring, Splunk, and Dynatrace

• Configure and manage Google Cloud Load Balancers, Private Service Connect (PSC), Secure Web Proxy (SWP), and Managed Instance Groups (MIG)

• Build automation solutions for API lifecycle management using Python

• Develop and maintain API governance standards, shared flows, and security policies

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable API platforms

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, firewall, and connectivity issues across Google Cloud Platform environments
