Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maximo Application Developer to support and enhance enterprise asset management solutions for a leading utility client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting IBM Maximo applications to improve asset management, maintenance, and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize applications within the IBM Maximo Asset Management platform.
• Configure Maximo modules including Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory, and Procurement.
• Develop Maximo automation scripts, workflows, escalations, and business rules.
• Build and maintain Maximo integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MIF (Maximo Integration Framework), and web services.
• Develop and customize Maximo UI components, applications, and screens as required.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of Maximo applications.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and environment deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and security best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working with IBM Maximo Application Development.
• Strong experience with Maximo configuration, customization, and workflow development.
• Hands-on experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
• Experience developing automation scripts using Python/Jython or Java.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services integration.
• Familiarity with Maximo upgrades and deployment processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Utility industry clients (Electric, Gas, or Water).
• Experience with Maximo Anywhere / Mobile solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud environments and DevOps tools.
• Experience with Java, XML, and scripting for Maximo customization.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
