About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will consult on and contribute to initiatives within Information Security Engineering, focusing on data scanning and validation in a large-scale enterprise environment. You will work closely with client teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with security standards.
What You'll Do
  • Participate in moderately complex projects and deliverables related to Information Security Engineering.
  • Review and analyze security challenges, applying in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and meet security deliverables.
  • Work with an off-the-shelf application that scans structured and unstructured data within the Wells Fargo data environment.
  • Validate scanned data for accuracy and integrity using data analysis techniques.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or equivalent (work experience, consulting, training, military service, or education).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of data profiling techniques and data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, validity, timeliness, uniqueness).
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data quality tools (e.g., Ab Initio, Informatica, Qualytics).
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with security compliance standards and best practices.
