About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will consult on and contribute to initiatives within Information Security Engineering, focusing on data scanning and validation in a large-scale enterprise environment. You will work closely with client teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with security standards.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will consult on and contribute to initiatives within Information Security Engineering, focusing on data scanning and validation in a large-scale enterprise environment. You will work closely with client teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with security standards.
What You'll Do
- Participate in moderately complex projects and deliverables related to Information Security Engineering.
- Review and analyze security challenges, applying in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and meet security deliverables.
- Work with an off-the-shelf application that scans structured and unstructured data within the Wells Fargo data environment.
- Validate scanned data for accuracy and integrity using data analysis techniques.
- 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or equivalent (work experience, consulting, training, military service, or education).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of data profiling techniques and data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, validity, timeliness, uniqueness).
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data quality tools (e.g., Ab Initio, Informatica, Qualytics).
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards and best practices.
