Senior IT Project Manager - AV/Networking

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager - AV/Networking who will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a project which with specified deliverables.

Responsibilities:
* Define the scope of the project in collaboration with other staff members
* Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
* Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
* Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
* Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
* Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
* Staff the project which includes interview and selection process
* Manage project staff
* Execute the project according to the project plan
* Develop forms and records to document project activities
* Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
* Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
* Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
* Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
* Evaluate the project and make recommendations as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* Undergraduate degree required
* PMP certified preferred
* 10+ years of experience in technical delivery or project management, with a focus on infrastructure, office relocations and AV/Network deployments
* Proven ability to manage timelines for projects
* Strong Knowledge or Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint
* Strong understanding of IT project delivery methodologies
* Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Excel, PowerBI, and related software
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with high attention to detail and the capacity to make data driven decisions while managing multiple projects in dynamic environments
* Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
