Job Title: MuleSoft Developer

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer to design, build, and support enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led integrations, and multiple messaging and data formats. This role requires close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing integration solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience in MuleSoft server design, development, and support

• Strong experience building complex MuleSoft flows, including custom logic, real-time and batch processing

• Hands-on experience configuring and using connectors such as File, FTP, MQ, Database, REST, and SOAP

• Experience integrating applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, File/FTP, SQL, and messaging queues

• Proficiency in working with XML, JSON, and flat file formats (both consumption and generation)

• Experience with MUnit for unit and integration testing

• Strong background in performance tuning, monitoring, and optimizing MuleSoft environments

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders

• Healthcare domain experience and EDI knowledge is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft applications following platform best practices and integration standards

• Apply a strong understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, service-oriented architecture, and integration patterns

• Build complex data mappings using MuleSoft’s built-in components and custom functions

• Integrate enterprise systems across multiple channels and formats including REST APIs, SOAP services, FTP, and message queues

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable integration solutions

• Monitor MuleSoft environments, perform performance tuning, and recommend improvements

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and technical expectations

• Open and manage support tickets with MuleSoft and drive issues through resolution
