Job Description
IRG Clients is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to design, implement, and support enterprise Salesforce solutions for a large public sector environment. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership for Salesforce architecture, maintenance, production support, system enhancements, and modernization initiatives while ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions.
The Salesforce Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers to deliver reliable Salesforce applications that support critical business operations. This role requires strong expertise in Salesforce architecture, integrations, security, and cloud technologies within an Agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for Salesforce maintenance, production support, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce applications using Lightning Platform technologies.
- Develop solution architectures for integrations, workflows, automation, and custom business requirements.
- Evaluate existing Salesforce environments and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Design and implement secure Salesforce data models, application frameworks, and integration solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Support system integrations, deployments, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production releases.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term technical solutions.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical designs, standards, and implementation guides.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cloud best practices.
- Mentor development teams on Salesforce architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting Salesforce Public Sector Cloud environments.
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise Salesforce solutions.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Salesforce Lightning Platform
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Flow
- Visualforce
- SOQL/SOSL
- Platform Events
- Experience with Salesforce security architecture, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience supporting Salesforce production environments, maintenance, and release management.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile project management tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale government or public sector Salesforce implementations.
- Experience working with secure cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud.
- Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and document management systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments with strict security and compliance requirements.

- Salesforce Certified Architect Associate
