Job Title: Data Scientist (Databricks Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Databricks to build scalable machine learning models and derive actionable insights from large datasets. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems using data-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy machine learning models using Databricks and Apache Spark.
Perform data cleaning, exploration, and feature engineering on large datasets.
Build and optimize data pipelines in a distributed computing environment.
Utilize Databricks tools such as MLflow for experiment tracking and model management.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights.
Monitor model performance and ensure continuous improvement.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
2 5 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.
Strong experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Solid understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, and data analysis.
Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MLflow, Delta Lake, and Databricks workflows.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Experience in NLP, deep learning, or time-series forecasting.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Understanding of MLOps and CI/CD practices.
