Core cybersecurity operations

• SOC oversight: monitoring, threat detection, alert triage, incident response, containment, and remediation
• Design and execution of advanced threat-detection and incident-response protocols
• Security operations governance, KPIs, performance reporting, and continuous improvement
• Risk identification, escalation, and clear communication of incident status and operational risk to executives
• Team leadership, mentoring, training, and building a culture of operational excellence

Cloud and infrastructure security

• Cloud security across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
• Cloud security architecture and solution design
• Kubernetes and container-security practices
• Secure communication protocols and protection of sensitive data
• Integration of cybersecurity controls with physical-security monitoring and infrastructure protection

Engineering and automation

• Scripting for security automation, detection, response, reporting, or cloud controls commonly Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Security tooling, logging, monitoring, and observability
• Vulnerability management, hardening, identity and access management, network security, and defense-in-depth controls
• Ability to evaluate security architectures, identify abuse paths, and prioritize remediation
