Location: Bay area. CA The Objective

We are seeking an SAP PaPM expert to design and implement complex allocation cycles that bridge the gap between statutory compliance and internal operational transparency. The primary focus is transforming high-level Operating Expenditures (OPEX) into actionable cost data.

Core Responsibilities

• GAAP Reporting Alignment: Configure allocation logic within PaPM to reclassify specific OPEX line items into Cost of Sales (CoS). This ensures that statutory financial statements accurately reflect gross margins in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Granular Management Reporting: Develop a multi-step allocation model to push expenses down to a unique location level (City). You will build drivers based on actual usage metrics to provide leadership with a clear view of geographic profitability.
• Model Optimization: Utilize PaPM's high-speed processing environment to ensure these allocations run efficiently against large datasets, maintaining a clear audit trail from source to destination.

Technical Qualifications

• Proven experience with SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management) modeling.
• Strong understanding of Allocation Engines (Iterative, Cumulative, and Direct).
• Ability to define and map "Source-to-Target" logic for financial reclassifications.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance integration is a plus.
