Job Description


We are seeking a Technical Program Manager, PDE to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hardware module development, cross-functional program leadership, and phase-gated delivery and a proven ability to drive complex consumer electronics programs from concept through qualification to mass production.


Responsibilities:



  • Partner across engineering, product management, architecture, industrial design, operations, and vendors to define and deliver next-generation products.

  • Create development, delivery, and qualification strategies and schedules aligned to system and PDE part requirements, technical risks, lead times, and business needs.

  • Manage communication and dependencies across internal teams and external suppliers.

  • Define milestones, report program status, and identify and address risks and setbacks.

  • Drive engineering teams to root-cause and close technical issues.

  • Establish best practices and technology development processes in a dynamic environment to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Plan and execute engineering builds from early prototyping through qualification builds.

  • Maintain complete and current program documentation for staff and leadership reviews.

  • Support resource planning and budget management to meet program objectives.

  • Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally based on program needs.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Experience with phase-gate approaches to technology development and productization.

  • Hands-on experience with component and module qualification, validation, and characterization.

  • Proficiency in program issue and bug tracking and formal risk management.

  • Clear communication skills and demonstrated partnership with technical teams.

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

  • Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors, including schedule flexibility and on-site support when needed.

  • BS in an Engineering field or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years as a Program Manager leading PDE programs from concept to mass production, preferably in consumer electronics.


Preferred Skills:



  • Familiarity with supplier management for hardware modules and components.

  • Background in consumer hardware product development lifecycles.
