Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager, Audio to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hardware product development and audio subsystem delivery and a proven ability to plan and deliver complex, cross-functional hardware programs on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver audio hardware programs within scope, quality, schedule, budget, and risk constraints.
- Lead program-level strategic planning, drive cross-functional collaboration, and resolve complex issues.
- Oversee scope definition, requirements, schedules, budgets, status reporting, hardware build plans, risks, and contingencies.
- Plan and track engineering deliverables including audio subsystem specifications, DOEs, ECNs, and validation results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Project estimating, scheduling, tracking, and implementation planning in large organizations.
- Customer interaction and stakeholder management with clear communication.
- People management and team building with the ability to influence without authority.
- Ability to adapt judgment in changing environments and manage competing priorities.
- Strong risk assessment and application of management principles to technology products and business functions.
- Experience across the hardware product development lifecycle.
- Experience working with vendors, including flexible hours and travel for on-site support as needed.
- 5+ years of audio TPM or engineering experience with consumer products such as phones, tablets, watches, or glasses.
Preferred Skills:
- MBA or related advanced degree.
- PMP or PMI certification.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field required.
