**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Data Profiler to support cyber analytics and data analysis initiatives in a secure, mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with SIEM tools, cyber telemetry data, and complex data analysis. This role involves data profiling, normalization, correlation, and analysis of large datasets to support cybersecurity and operational decision-making.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex technical data in an Agile and collaborative environment.

**Required Qualifications**

U.S. Citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain a security clearance
9+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Cyber Analytics, Data Profiling, or related field
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Elastic, or similar
Experience writing complex queries and analytics using SQL, SPL, Kibana, or Sigma rules
Experience with cyber data analysis, monitoring, and reporting
Experience with data extraction, transformation, and preparation (ETL)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Willingness to obtain required certifications

**Preferred Qualifications**

Experience with BDP and/or JCC2 applications
Familiarity with log data formats such as JSON, XML
Strong understanding of the OSI model and network protocols
Experience working with operating systems, network devices, and cybersecurity tools
Understanding of data profiling, data cleansing, and normalization techniques
Familiarity with data schemas, data models, and ontology concepts
Experience with Jupyter Notebooks or AI/ML frameworks
Strong communication and technical documentation skills

**Technical Environment**

SIEM / Analytics Tools: Splunk, Elastic, Kibana, Sigma
Languages / Querying: SQL, SPL
Data Types: JSON, XML, Log Data, Cyber Telemetry
