About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience to act as the link between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will lead requirements discovery, shape solutions for complex initiatives, and help drive measurable business outcomes. This is a hands-on role with strategic influence: you will mentor junior analysts, challenge assumptions, and help set the standard for how we define and deliver change.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

• Lead elicitation sessions, workshops, and interviews with executives, SMEs, and end users to capture business needs
• Translate business objectives into clear BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
• Perform gap analysis, root-cause analysis, and impact assessments on current vs. future state processes
• Build business cases with cost-benefit analysis, ROI estimates, and risk assessments

Solution Delivery

• Partner with product owners, architects, developers, and QA to ensure solutions meet business intent
• Own the requirements lifecycle: traceability, change control, prioritization, and backlog refinement
• Support UAT planning and execution, and help drive go-live readiness and adoption
• Model processes using BPMN, UML, wireframes, and data flow diagrams

Data & Insights

• Analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, and BI tools to uncover trends and support decisions
• Define KPIs and success metrics, and build dashboards to track benefits realization

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level analysts; review their work and raise team quality
• Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicting requirements, and facilitate consensus
• Contribute to BA standards, templates, and best practices
• Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a proven record on large, cross-functional projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent a plus)
• Deep expertise in requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation
• Strong experience with both Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall delivery
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis; strong Excel skills
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, and Figma or similar wireframing tools
• Experience with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including comfort engaging C-level stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and lead without formal authority

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, or SAFe
• Domain experience in [BFSI / Healthcare / Retail / Telecom / SaaS / etc.]
• Experience with ERP/CRM platforms (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Dynamics)
• Exposure to API/integration analysis, data migration, or digital transformation programs
• Familiarity with automation, AI/ML use cases, or process mining
• Prior experience leading or managing a team of analysts
