About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive growth by acquiring new clients and expanding our staffing services footprint. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of bringing in new logos, developing strategic client relationships, and generating staffing and workforce solutions opportunities.
This is a client-facing role that requires regular in-person meetings, networking, and relationship-building activities throughout the Bay Area and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients requiring staffing and workforce solutions.
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct in-person client meetings to build strong relationships and understand hiring needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, HR leaders, and decision-makers.
- Present staffing solutions, service offerings, and value propositions to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client requirements.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and business meetings.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Business Development or Sales experience within the Staffing, Recruiting, or Workforce Solutions industry.
- Proven success in bringing new logos and generating revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of contract staffing, direct hire, and workforce solutions.
- Experience building long-term client relationships through face-to-face interactions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality and a passion for business development.
- Valid driver''s license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network within technology, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, or professional services industries.
- Experience working with MSP/VMS programs.
- Knowledge of staffing industry trends and workforce solutions.
