About the Role
Our staffing firm is partnering with a leading Fortune 50 retail and technology organization to identify a Security Engineer with strong expertise in Zscaler and network security operations. This role supports critical enterprise security infrastructure and is responsible for maintaining secure remote access, internet proxy services, zero-trust access solutions, and firewall technologies across a large-scale environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex network security issues, supporting end users, and contributing to the stability and security of enterprise networking platforms. US daytime hours are required, and hybrid or remote work arrangements will be considered.

Job Description
The Security Engineer will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 operational support for enterprise network security technologies. The primary focus will be on supporting and optimizing platforms related to secure remote access, internet security, proxy services, zero-trust network access, and firewall infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced operational support for network security tools and services.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to internet proxy, VPN, zero-trust access, and firewall technologies.
Support and administer Zscaler security solutions, including ongoing maintenance and issue resolution.
Deliver technical support to end users while ensuring a high level of service and security.
Investigate security-related incidents and coordinate resolution efforts.
Assist with backend infrastructure support and configuration management for network security platforms.
Collaborate with security, networking, and infrastructure teams to maintain secure and reliable connectivity.
Document troubleshooting procedures, support activities, and operational recommendations.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Experience supporting enterprise network security environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and/or Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC).
Experience supporting Checkpoint Security firewalls.
Experience with Cisco AnyConnect VPN administration and support.
Experience managing or supporting F5 BIG-IP proxy and application delivery solutions.
Experience providing Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for security and networking platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting secure remote access and VPN technologies.
Ability to communicate effectively with end users and technical teams.
Knowledge of internet proxy services, zero-trust network access, and network security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Checkpoint Security firewalls.
Experience with Cisco AnyConnect VPN administration and support.
Experience managing or supporting F5 BIG-IP proxy and application delivery solutions.
Familiarity with enterprise firewall operations and infrastructure support.
Experience working within large-scale corporate or enterprise environments.
