Overview

We're seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to perform hands-on integration and test of hardware and software for a state-of-the-art radar system in a fast-paced laboratory environment. You'll collaborate directly with systems, test, and software engineering teams to develop test procedures, execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and analyze performance data used to validate system readiness.
Primary Mission

Own integration and test activities for radar system hardware and software in a lab environment-ensuring system functionality, data integrity, and verified performance to support program sell-off milestones.
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Integration & Test Engineering integrator in the radar string lab
• Develop, document, and execute system test procedures for hardware and software
• Perform hands-on integration, configuration, and bring-up of lab equipment and software builds
• Troubleshoot issues, collect logs, and perform detailed performance analysis on radar/system data
• Support verification and validation events to confirm compliance with requirements and specifications
• Coordinate across engineering, test, and software teams; participate in peer/gate/test-readiness reviews
• Maintain readiness of test setups and ensure process adherence for software/hardware test activities
• Support export/licensing policy compliance during test and evaluation activities
• Travel up to 10% (local and non-local), including support for foreign military sales test events

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• 2+ years of relevant experience (integration, verification/validation, and/or test)
• Linux/Unix and networking system administration skill set
• Experience with at least one of: MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux or Unix scripting
• Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, integration, networking, verification/validation, and/or testing
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills in lab environments

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working in a test lab environment and with system integration workflows
• Experience developing integration/test procedures, test plans, or test scripts
• Familiarity with configuration control documentation and reading test setup schematics
• Exposure to regression testing, software installation, and integrating/configuring electronics or network equipment
• Knowledge of Agile/DevSecOps practices (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, PI planning, retrospectives) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Security+ are a plus
• Understanding of system algorithms, signal processing concepts, and system-level performance
