Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst POS Operations to support the pilot and phased rollout of a newly implemented Point of Sale (POS) system across 100+ retail store locations. This is a hands-on technical role within a lean rollout team, requiring strong troubleshooting capabilities across application, hardware, and store-level operational environments.

This role is higher-level than traditional helpdesk support and requires independent triage, log analysis, and root cause resolution in a production retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pilot and phased rollout of new POS system across 100+ retail stores
Perform advanced triage of POS incidents and operational issues
Analyze application and system logs to identify root cause
Troubleshoot POS software and hardware integration issues
Support on-premise POS environments
Partner with store operations and internal support teams
Provide stabilization support during rollout waves
Document recurring issues and resolution steps
Participate in on-call rotation (1 week every 4 weeks)

Required Qualifications

3 7+ years supporting retail POS systems or similar application environments
Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience in POS or retail platforms
Experience performing root cause analysis and log investigation
Experience supporting on-premise (non-cloud) environments
Familiarity with POS hardware (terminals, scanners, printers, peripherals)
Working knowledge of Java-based applications
Ability to independently resolve issues with minimal documentation
Experience operating in fast-paced rollout environments

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with enterprise retail POS platforms
Experience supporting multi-store retail rollouts
Experience working with field operations and store support teams
Background in specialty retail environments
