Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Manager with 15+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience to manage and support enterprise-level environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware, Linux/Windows systems, storage, Cisco UCS, and cloud platforms, along with strong operational leadership and 24x7 production support experience.

This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, high-availability environment.

Required Experience & Skills:

Infrastructure & Virtualization

• 15+ years of experience with CentOS/Linux/Windows VMs hosted on VMware ESXi
• Extensive experience upgrading and managing:
• vSphere
• vCenter
• VMware Tools
• Strong understanding of:
• vLANs and VMware virtual switching
• Storage (SAN/NAS) connectivity from vSphere
• Mounting LUNs

Cloud Platforms

• Experience with at least one major cloud provider:
• AWS
• Azure
• Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

Systems Administration

• 10+ years of Linux and Windows administration experience
• PowerShell and Python scripting (development and execution)
• Enterprise monitoring tools experience

Storage & Backup

• Pure Storage experience
• Cohesity backup solutions knowledge

Hardware & Networking

• Strong knowledge of:
• Cisco UCS (B & C Series) servers
• UCS Manager (CIMC)
• Cisco HyperFlex
• Core network and server compliance management

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24x7 on-call production support
• Perform triage and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Upgrade and maintain core network and server infrastructure
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues
• Manage infrastructure compliance and governance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable service delivery
• Conduct POCs on emerging hardware and software technologies
• Research and implement improvements to infrastructure performance
• Work outside standard business hours when required for upgrades and maintenance
• Ensure regular communication with supervisors and stakeholders
