Job Overview: This position involves consulting on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering. The role requires reviewing and analyzing multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Information Security Engineering challenges that demand in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented elements. The candidate will contribute to resolving complex situations requiring a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel are essential.
Responsibilities: - Lead and manage large-scale Information Security Engineering projects.
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact.
- Analyze and resolve multi-faceted challenges in Information Security Engineering.
- Collaborate strategically with client personnel.
- Participate in planning meetings and lead deployment efforts.
- Support current vulnerability scanning capabilities.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with Jira and working in Agile delivery frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid 7, and others.
- Knowledge of CVE, CWE, and CVSS frameworks.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
- Optional skills: Python, API automation, scripting.
- Knowledge of IoT/OT vulnerability scanning is a plus.
- Experience with Linux, Microsoft Windows, and SaaS technologies.
