Job Overview: The role is for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to drive reliability, automation, observability, and performance for mission-critical applications and platforms. This position blends software engineering with operational expertise to deliver stable, scalable, and resilient services while reducing toil and shifting operations left. The candidate will work both individually and as part of a team, contributing to the development of a Site Reliability Engineering utility within a financial organization.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to define Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets.
- Build and enhance observability, telemetry, and monitoring tools.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce toil.
- Lead and complete production readiness activities, including Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and Permit to Operate processes.
- Provide application support and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience leading, operating, and performing within an SRE team.
- 2+ years of experience using Autosys and Oracle.
- 2+ years of experience supporting applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong understanding of observability tools such as AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and Aternity.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.

Pay Range: $60 - $65
