Role Overview:
We're seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a 6 12 month onsite contract in Brooklyn, NY. You'll own the full Oracle database development lifecycle data modeling, architecture design, SQL/PLSQL development, unit testing, and production support for mission-critical systems. 
The ideal candidate has deep expertise with modern Oracle features and a strong track record of tuning complex SQL for performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Oracle database solutions, including architecture and data modeling.

• Create, enhance, and maintain reusable database objects (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views).

• Optimize and tune SQL/PLSQL for maximum efficiency and reliability in production.

• Develop using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and API Gateway Cloud for database integration.

• Apply advanced PL/SQL programming techniques, including:

  • BLOBs, CLOBs, cursors, exception handling

  • Collections and MERGE statements

  • Analytic functions, indexes, views, materialized views

  • Table functions, stored procedures, triggers, dynamic SQL

  • Performance tuning, external tables, object programming

  • SQL built-in functions, joins, and aggregates

• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for critical Oracle workloads.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 7+ years of IT experience with proven expertise as a PL/SQL Developer.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle databases and familiarity with recent Oracle versions/features.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.

• Able to work onsite in Brooklyn, NY; in-person interview required.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ORDS, API Gateway Cloud, and RESTful database integrations.

• Background supporting large-scale, high-transaction Oracle environments.
