Low Voltage Technician - Cabling About the RoleWe are hiring Low Voltage Technicians to support structured cabling projects throughout healthcare and educational facilities in the Greater Knoxville area. We're looking for team players with a positive attitude who take pride in high-quality work, safety, and professionalism.
Technicians will work hands-on installing and terminating cabling, building pathways, and supporting active jobsite environments. This role requires travel within the Greater Knoxville region, and all necessary PPE will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Install, route, and terminate CAT6 cabling
- Perform cable pulls through ceilings, walls, and conduit
- Build and maintain cable pathways using J-hooks, ladder rack, and cable tray
- Punchdown and terminate cabling at patch panels and wall plates
- Assist in rack and stack of network equipment
- Install and mount wireless access points
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic cabling issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required Qualifications- Experience with low-voltage cabling in commercial settings
- Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 10 and Lift Certifications
- Must have personal hand tools and a snip pouch/tool belt
- Ability to work in active environments (healthcare, schools, etc.)
- Ability to travel within the Greater Knoxville area

- WAP (Wireless Access Point) installation
- Troubleshooting low-voltage systems

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
